I wish someone warned me about SoCal’s fickle weather.
Just a week or so ago, I was sporting a Snuggie while sleeping. While I was wearing said Snuggie, I also wore a long sleeve pair of pajamas that were fleece, and had a blanket covered over me. Yes, it was that serious.
So tell me why this week, it’s been in the 80′s; today being closer to 90 degrees? It’s the middle of January, mind you. We have the air conditioning on. See what’s wrong with the picture?
Now don’t get me wrong, I love when the weather is like this. I’m naturally a shorts and t-shirt girl1, and dare I say it actually did cure me of the seasonal part of my depression. But I have a problem when it’s like this for a few days, then drops down to parka weather2. It’s how I got sick a few weeks ago3. I went to look at the weather for the next 10 days and it’s supposed to cool down a smidge. 75-ish degrees isn’t too bad. In NY, I’d be looking at 30-degree weather and yet another chance of snow. So once looking at that, the SoCal fickleness isn’t all bad.
Mother Nature sucks though. Bitch better keep it this way for at least another 3-4 weeks. I want to pack away my Snuggie for good.4
P.S: Can someone tell me how the hell to make the footnote text smaller? It’s annoying me to shit, and I had the same problem on Crestfallen.
- Besides, one of my best features are my legs. *giggles* ↩
- Okay, not quite parka weather, I am in California after all ↩
- Well, that, and because I stayed out a little longer in the cold than I should have ↩
- Technically, that won’t be happening since I’m always cold, but I’d like to not have to sleep with it. ↩
